Alessandro Tenorio-Bucci
His major teachers include Larry Combs, Stephen Williamson, and Julie DeRoche. Alessandro has served on the faculty of Illinois Wesleyan University and has performed with several groups including the Wheaton Municipal Band, Chicago Composers Orchestra, and Quad Cities Symphony, and is on the substitute list for the Milwaukee Symphony.
John Springbrunn
He is a former member of the Fox Valley Concert Band and is currently the founder, musical arranger and leader of the Chicago Tribute Anthology--a festival band that performs throughout the Midwest.
Mary Kate Newman
Mary Kate Newman studied Music Education and Performance at Washington State University and received her B.A. in Theatre at Lewis University. She has been teaching piano, flute, voice and drama for over 20 years, and received recognition from the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS).
She has numerous music and theatrical credits, and has performed on the stages of Chicago’s Civic Opera House, Milwaukee’s Pabst Theatre and Seattle’s Benaroya Hall, to name a few. Mary Kate has performed both professionally and within the community for over 30 years. She lives in Naperville with her husband (Matt), her daughter (Lyric), and her 2 dogs (Fauci and Porter).
Troy Smith
Troy has taught clarinet and music theory, collaborated with composer James M. Stephenson, and premiered his own composition with a live performance he conducted.
His interests span classical to heavy metal, with a special focus on microtonal and xenharmonic music.
