The new YBL-835, developed with support from internationally acclaimed artist Tomer Maschkowski of the Deutsche Symphonie Orchester Berlin, is an exciting evolution in Xeno bass trombone design, replacing the popular YBL-830 Xeno bass trombone. Professional bass trombone players, amateurs and advancing students will notice the familiar ease and efficient feel of the previous model but with the added ability to put more air into the instrument with a more robust sound in return.
The new design features include:
- Revised slide and mouthpiece receivers for optimized airflow and resonance
- Reshaped rotors for decreased air resistance
- Upgraded valve linkage system which allows for a shorter throw and improved ergonomics
- Detachable handrest for added comfort
- Gold brass main tuning slide for a broader and richer tone
