The VIZI-AIR™ is an airflow visualization training aid for brass instruments. This patent pending, educational device was originally intended for younger students, but has also been found effective for brass players of all ages. VIZI-AIR™ is a revolutionary device allowing the performer the opportunity to “see” their air based on rotation of the fan blades.
For those of us concerned with what type of sound is being produced while “buzzing” on the mouthpiece, VIZI-AIR™ takes away most of the guess work. It’s designed to show whether or not a good, air-supported vibration is occurring. If a full airstream passes through the mouthpiece, the VIZI-AIR™ will rotate. If air flow is hindered in any way, the VIZI-AIR™ will either rotate slower or not all. The player can actually see the difference and make the necessary adjustments!
