Ukuleles are affordable and accessible!
Ukuleles come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, patterns, and unlike most other instruments, they won't break the bank! There are even highly durable, waterproof, and glow-in-the dark options that allow you to take your musical practice wherever your adventures may lead!
That summertime ukulele "vibe"
The ukulele has a very rich and interesting history dating back to late 19th century Hawaii, and has continued to be a mainstay of popular summertime, beach tunes. Hawaiian musician Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, sometimes known as IZ, went viral with his YouTube video of his ukulele cover of the popular Wizard of Oz tune, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”. The video has garnered an impressive amount of views (over one billion and counting!) and is a true testament to the easy-going, carefree, and chill nature usually associated with the ukulele. The ukulele's Hawaiian roots and portability make it the perfect soundtrack for a relaxing day on the beach, in the forest, or just hanging around in the backyard. Pick up your ukulele, find a shady spot, and get to jammin' so you can relax in style.
Ukuleles offer endless fun designs
Choosing the right ukulele comes down to a multitude of things; sound, comfort, portability and size. Due to its inherently fun nature, the ukulele also comes equipped with some of the most aesthetically pleasing and stylish designs, many of which are perfect for summer! We're talking pineapple shapes, Indigenous Hawaiian designs, beautiful sunsets, juicy fruits, dolphins and sharks, all bold options sure to make your ukulele as memorable as the melodic tunes you play on it.
