Alessandro Tenorio-Bucci is an active freelance clarinetist and dedicated educator based in the Chicagoland area. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in clarinet performance from DePaul University, where he studied under renowned clarinetists Larry Combs, Stephen Williamson, and Julie DeRoche.
In addition to his performing career, Alessandro is passionate about teaching and offers private lessons in clarinet as well as beginner saxophone, helping students develop strong fundamentals and a lifelong appreciation for music. His approach to education emphasizes technical skill, musical expression, and fostering a supportive environment for learners of all ages and levels.
Throughout his career, Alessandro has been a valued member of various ensembles, including the Wheaton Municipal Band, Chicago Composers Orchestra, and Quad Cities Symphony. He has also served on the faculty of Illinois Wesleyan University, where he contributed to the growth and development of aspiring musicians.
Currently, he is on the substitute list for the Milwaukee Symphony, further showcasing his versatility and professionalism as a performer. Alessandro’s commitment to both performance and education makes him a well-rounded musician dedicated to enriching the musical community around him.
