Kyunghwee Choi is a music educator with over 20 years of experience, offering lessons in ukulele, guitar, mandolin, banjo, and electric bass. He studied classical guitar at Wheaton College and earned his Master’s degree in Music Composition from the DePaul School of Music.
With a strong foundation in both classical training and modern musical styles, Kyunghwee brings a unique blend of structure, creativity, and fun to every lesson. Teaching in the Chicagoland area, Kyunghwee works with students of all ages and skill levels, carefully tailoring each lesson to their individual goals and interests.
Whether you're learning your first chords on the ukulele or diving deeper into advanced guitar techniques, his friendly and approachable teaching style makes music accessible and rewarding. As both a performer and composer, Kyunghwee brings depth, versatility, and passion to every session.
